Here at Three Corners we believe that socialising is important to the wellbeing of residents. We have a beautiful lounge with plenty of space to sit with fellow residents or to take part in activities. There’s no pressure for anyone to take part in the fun and games but our staff are gently encouraging and do their upmost to help everyone feel at home.
Activity helps to maintain physical and mental health so we’re passionate that residents should have the opportunity to take part in new activities or maintain their existing pursuits wherever possible.
Meaningful activities extend to routine personal tasks such as brushing their own teeth and getting dressed which can really contribute to a sense of wellbeing.
But we know that for some people they prefer individual activities such as reading or listening to music. Our lounge is large enough for this to take place away from other activities but within sight of others to help that feeling of community and to help prevent isolation.
